To do this, we select the most innovative tech startups from across Europe and back them, leveraging our curated community of investors and entrepreneurs.

We are headquartered in Paris and have an office in Barcelona. Currently, we are expanding our business development efforts in Spain; we are particularly focused on growing our Spanish investor base and our investments in Spanish start-ups. 

The Position:

We are looking for a versatile profile to reboot our presence in Spain. Your job will be two-fold:

Investor relations. As our Spanish investor relations point of contact, you will be responsible for driving business growth in Spain by building and maintaining strong relationships with Spanish investors. A large part of this is developing an in-depth understanding of each investor’s needs in order to offer them the very best investment opportunities.

In your investor relations capacities, you will:

  • Target new investors from … and develop dedicated offers for Spanish investors

  • Identify investors and partners (HNWI, Family Offices, Wealth Managers) Private Banks, Insurers) and acquire them by leveraging the prospect base, using growth hacking techniques, event participation and other innovative channels

  • Advise your investor accounts on OneRagtime investment opportunities. Work towards strategic business goals and optimise all leads and sales opportunities

  • Engage the investor community by organising events, developing specific offers and features, creating partnerships and so on

  • Support investors during all their investments: fiscal matters, portfolio management, assistance on any question etc.

Dealflow. You will also act as our point of contact for the Spanish dealflow, which means that you will work towards identifying, vetting, and attracting potential new investments across the Spanish startup ecosystem.

The dealflow side of the job requires you to:

  • Identify and represent OneRagtime at all relevant entrepreneur events to meet and source new startups

  • Enrich our databases by entering data provided by the startups we meet with in order to fuel our tech products disrupting classic Venture Capital

As the role evolves, there is potential to eventually move your responsibilities exclusively to this end of business, which would include responsibilities such as: 

  • Assess investment opportunities and perform market research, data analysis and financial modelling

  • Negotiate and close the investments

  • Monitor and help our portfolio companies

  • Help the team structure new activities and projects: growth hacking and partnerships, business development,

  • Help define the product specifications of OneRagtime’s platform and deepdive: we have one obsession at OneRagtime, digitize and automatize as much as we can and leverage data and algorithms

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for someone who shares the same values as our Team:

  • Passionate about start-ups and the tech industry

  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude 

  • Ability to take initiative, be quickly autonomous, and work towards strategic business goals

  • An international mindset is a must, and an international background is even better!

  • Bilingual (written and spoken) Spanish and English. Catalan and French are a plus

  • Experience working in sales, tech or investor ecosystems are a plus
