Newsletter Edition #106

Standing alongside ambitious founders, supporting them through the decisive moments and helping them build what comes next: that is what I love most about being an investor.

This latest edition of the OneRagtime Founders Day was a wonderful illustration of it.

Thank you to our founders, to the OneRagtime team and to our community of investors and partners. Your energy, your trust and your commitment make all of this possible.

Founders Day: bringing together the people building champions in the age of AI

This month, OneRagtime brought together the founders of its portfolio for its Founders Day, an afternoon of shared experience and practical discussion around a single question: how to build companies that are stronger, more international and more agile by placing AI at the heart of their growth.

Queenie Chan, of Antimatter and Hivenet, and Stéphanie Hospital opened the day with a reading of Asian dynamics, the opportunities emerging across the region and the lessons European entrepreneurs can draw from an ecosystem that is accelerating fast.

The discussion then turned to teams and scaling. Norman Grandjean, of Deel, shared the keys to international recruitment, while Philippe Guillaud, of MatchTune, brought his experience of managing teams in an environment deeply reshaped by AI. Jean-Loup Fraudin, of Moso, and Mathis Batoul, of Estaly, extended the conversation to gaining efficiency with leaner teams.

Yann Aleman, of LoneScale, set out the new rules of go-to-market in the age of AI. Romain Palmieri and Rafael Cohen, of Groover, shared the practical realities of rolling out a platform internationally.

Yann Bilien, of Rippletide, and Killian Vermersch, of Miralia, addressed what trustworthy AI requires, while Thierry Moncorger, of Elefantia, showed how AI can become an engine of transformation in sectors that remain lightly digitised.

Léo Viguier, CTO of OneRagtime, then opened up the workings of our AI stack and invited founders to assess their real level of adoption without flinching. Julien Simiand, of OpenAI, and Yann Bilien continued the discussion around the next developments in AI and what they mean for companies.

Capital was also central to the debate. Stéphanie Hospital and Jeremy Blackwell, of Blackwell Family Office, put AI startup valuations, private rounds and the signals coming from the US public markets into perspective.

The day closed with a conversation between Stéphanie Hospital, David Gurlé, of Antimatter, and Carlos Diaz, of Silicon Carne, on what it will take for the next generation of global AI champions to emerge.

The conversations carried on at a Community Drinks bringing together the entrepreneurs and investors of the OneRagtime community.

Founders Talk "How to build the AI champions of Europe, Asia and the US"

To close the Founders Day, Stéphanie brought together David Gurlé (Antimatter) and Carlos Diaz (Silicon Carne) for our Founders Talk.

The thread running through the conversation: the unconventional path of David Gurlé, an entrepreneur carried by one constant conviction, to do what everyone says is impossible. Antimatter was born from it: where the market pointed one way, David bet the other way, convinced that the market is not necessarily right. A bet that requires surrounding yourself with the right people, those who believe in the founder before they believe in the market. Hence the conviction that echoed through the evening: "The most important customer is not the market, it is the investor."

It is with that same contrarian eye that David approaches the AI race, a reading Carlos shares. Between an American world driven by capital, the awakening of Asia and the assertion of European sovereignty, the real question is not who will win, but how. Compute, funding, talent, technological sovereignty, international deployment: the discussion covered, without detours, what separates European ambition from a genuine ability to compete.

An evening that matched the energy of our community.

News from our portfolio

Groover posts its best quarter

The second quarter of 2026 marks a clear acceleration, driven by the opening of new markets. Translating the platform into more than fifteen languages has doubled, and in places tripled activity in South Korea, Denmark, Japan, Turkey and Greece, while the established markets keep delivering profitable growth.

This momentum comes with the launch of new features, starting with Your Release Plan, which lets artists schedule and automatically run their promotion campaigns at scale. A first step ahead of further announcements expected in the third quarter.

Behind that trajectory sits a conviction unchanged since day one: to be international by nature. Carried by a team of twenty-four people spread across New York, Paris and remote work, Groover builds everywhere and for everyone.

Congratulations to the whole Groover team on this trajectory

Antimatter signs the largest contract in its history

Antimatter has just signed the largest contract in its history: an agreement that will deploy 280 PoliClouds across renewable energy farms in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Sweden over the course of 2026 and 2027.

The target had been to reach 100 PoliClouds by the end of 2027. This contract alone goes beyond that initial ambition and brings the company closer to its long-term goal of 1,000 PoliClouds. A few weeks after unveiling its vision, Antimatter establishes itself as one of the largest inference neo-clouds in the world.

Congratulations to David Gurlé, Richard Esteve and Richard Détente on signing this landmark agreement, and to the whole Antimatter team.

MatchTune wins the #weare_challenges 2026 final at VivaTech

Congratulations to MatchTune on winning the #weare_challenges 2026 final at VivaTech.

The award reflects the growing importance of compliance in how music is used, of copyright transparency and of responsible content governance.

Today, MatchTune helps brands, agencies and legal teams understand how music is used in the content they publish on social media, and manage the copyright risks that follow.

Well done to Rodolphe Plisson and Thomas Guillaud for their standout pitch in the final, and to founders Philippe Guillaud, André Manoukian, Hervé Gourdikian and Igal Cohen-Hadria, who are reinventing music with AI.

We are looking forward to what comes next for MatchTune.

Rippletide joins the Snowflake Startup Accelerator

Rippletide has been selected for the spring 2026 cohort of the Snowflake Startup Accelerator, a programme dedicated to startups building AI applications made for the enterprise. All of them share one requirement: to move past experimentation and deliver, from day one, solutions capable of creating value in production.

That is precisely the Rippletide thesis: enabling companies to deploy production-grade AI agents on their critical workflows, where accuracy, reliability and control are essential. Drawing on automatic ontologies and on Snowflake's unstructured data, its platform makes it possible to build trusted agents in a matter of minutes.

The selection extends an accelerating trajectory, after Rippletide joined the F/ai programme at STATION F, which we shared with you in our last edition.

Congratulations to Patrick Joubert, Yann Bilien and to the whole Rippletide team.

Pickme rolls out nationwide with Colissimo

Pickme reaches a new milestone with the nationwide rollout of its network, alongside Colissimo.

More than 60,000 postal workers at La Poste can now rely on its network of neighbour relay points across France, to deliver more parcels closer to their recipients, optimise rounds and strengthen local service in every region.

The partnership marks a major acceleration of the Pickme mission: making delivery simpler, more local and more sustainable by drawing on the strength of community. A conviction unchanged since day one: turning thousands of households into logistics micro-hubs able to smooth the last mile.

Congratulations to Jessie Toulcanon, Florian Rives and Samuel Rousseau, to the whole Pickme team and to the Keepers community, who reinvent last-mile delivery every day.

Where we have been recently 📸

Over the past few weeks, the OneRagtime team has been at the heart of the tech ecosystem, between major gatherings and community moments.

At VivaTech, for its tenth edition, Stéphanie spoke on two stages. One devoted to the art of running a fundraising roadshow, the other to the global evolution of venture capital and to technological sovereignty: being sovereign not to cut yourself off from others, but to build technologies no one can do without.

On the community side, our second Community Drinks of the year brought together founders, investors and operators around their growth and execution challenges, while our Women Breakfast gathered the women of tech and investment. A subject close to our hearts, as parity holds within our own team while women still account for only 15% of our investor community.

All of them moments that recall what makes the OneRagtime community strong: learning from one another, opening up the ecosystem and creating connections that count.

Sell or hand over? The dilemma of the pioneers of French private equity

On 23 July, Les Echos ran a feature on succession within French asset management houses, as a generation of founding partners prepares to hand over. Stéphanie shared her perspective on this defining subject.

Her view: OneRagtime, structured from the outset as a genuine company, approaches these questions more simply. That is the spirit in which OneRagtime has been built from the start, around a team, a thesis and a community, yours. A structure that allows it to grow over the long term.  And it is with you that OneRagtime will keep growing.
